Mercer Chapter of Jack and Jill of America Supports Young Scholars Institute With Annual Fundraiser

By Jack and Jill Mercer
Last fall, The Mercer Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc., gathered at Jasna Polana in Princeton for their annual fundraiser "Hanbags, Hats and Hope." They donated 500 books to the Young Scholars Institute in Trenton and were able to raise $15,000 for the educational non-profit. Celebrating 75 years at the national level, Jack and Jill of America, Inc. is the largest and oldest African American family organization in the U.S. that supports programs to provide challenging, character building opportunities to children. The goal of each chapter is to ensure that all youth have equal opportunities in life. For more information about Jack and Jill Mercer, visit http://mercercounty.jackandjillonline.org
