This week’s featured cat at Tabby’s Place is Sabrina, a beautiful, loving young female cat. About 4 years old, Sabrina has a sleek, soft white coat with gray tabby markings on her head, back and tail. Once she gets to know them, Sabrina adores people! When her human friends pick her up, Sabrina is known to actually hug them and kiss them softly on the cheek. Sabrina really is a heartbreaker . . . which is amazing given what she has had to overcome.
As a kitten, Sabrina was found at a construction site with a severely injured left front leg. Tabby’s Place rushed Sabrina to the emergency room but the veterinarians couldn’t save the leg. Sabrina recovered completely and was fully mobile on three legs. She could do anything other kittens could do and she was quickly adopted into a loving home.
Years later, when her family added another cat that she didn’t like, Sabrina started having behavior problems and was returned to Tabby’s Place. She is now settled in and hoping that another kind family will come, get to know her and offer her a loving forever home.
Sabrina is healthy, well-behaved and loves to play. Feathers are her favorite toy. Because of her history, Sabrina would likely do best in a home with no other cats.
If you would like to meet this sweet, fun and loving young cat, visit Sabrina at Tabby’s Place, 1100 Route 202, Ringoes, any day between noon and 5 p.m. or call 908-237-5300. Sabrina is house-trained, up to date with her shots and spayed.
