The Chesterfield Baptist Church Youth Group is working together in the fight against hunger. They participated in a 30-hour famine to experience and understand the hunger millions face every day, and they are trying to raise money for hungry kids and families.
There will be a fund-raising Pasta Dinner at 6 p.m., Saturday, March 9 at Chesterfield Baptist Church, 209 Matthews Lane, Chesterfield.
The family style meal will include salad, ziti and meatballs, rolls, and dessert.
A $10 donation is requested for adults and a $5 donation is requested for children 4 to 2, which can be made at the door on the night of the event.
Just $30 can help feed and care for a hungry child for a month through World Vision.
The Northern Burlington County Regional School Band Booster Association will be hosting a pasta dinner fund-raiser from 3 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Sunday, March 10 at the Crosswicks Firehouse.
The all-you-can-eat-dinner will include salad, rolls, pasta and meatballs, soft drinks and dessert.
The price will be $8.50 for diners for people 12 and older,; $5 per child between 6 and 11; children five and under may eat free. Take-out orders will also be available for $9.50 each.
All proceeds will go directly to the NBCRHS award winning marching unit.

The Chesterfield Baptist Church Pancake Breakfast will be held from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., Saturday, March 16 at the Chesterfield Baptist Church. All proceeds will benefit Harvest of Hope Food Pantry in Jacobstown.

The Fernbrook Farms Education Center 2013 Spring Break Camp is being held on March 26, March 27, March 28 and April 1 and April 2 located at 142 Route 545, Chesterfield.
The program is available for ages 6 to 14 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Children may attend any number of days. Optional extended care is available from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
The daily schedule of feeding the animals, exploration, snack, activities and journal time mirrors our unique summer camp schedule. Spring break is a wonderful time to explore and learn outdoors.
The wildflowers are coming up, the lambs are being born and Fernbrook Farms is an exciting place for students to enjoy a day outside with friends. Fernbrook Farms Education Center holds Spring Camp annually to coincide with as many schools breaks as possible.
Fernbrook Farms is a 230-acre working farm with over 60 acres of woods, two streams and two ponds.
Larry Kuser, third generation owner of Fernbrook Farms created the Education Center is 2001 to provide hands-on educational experience for people of all ages by exploring the complex interconnectedness of their natural world. Their purpose is to educate about agriculture, the sources of our food and the importance of nutrition for healthy lifestyle. They believe people should make meaningful connections with our natural world in order to become responsible stewards of local and global sustainability.

The Chesterfield Township Emergency Squad is seeking volunteer members to join its organization.
The Emergency Squad has been providing services to the residents of Chesterfield and surrounding towns since 1988. This is its 25th year of service.
The organization is looking for enthusiastic men and women to join.
The Emergency Squad will reimburse new members the cost of becoming an Emergency Medical Technician.
