The Florence Township Council will convene for a regular session meeting at 8 p.m. Feb. 20. It will take place at the Municipal Complex, 711 Broad St.
   There will be a Lenten Dinner at the Consolidated Fire Association, 20 Crosswicks Road in Bordentown p.m. to 8 p.m. March 8. March 16, March 22 and March.
   Folks can eat in or take out. Out- Delivery to home bound residents.
   All dinners include French fries.

   Florence United Methodist Church will have its Roast Pork Dinner on March 16 at 5:30 p.m. It will be just as delicious as ever.
   The price is $15 per adult; $7.50 per child 12 years or younger; and children 5 and younger may eat for free.

   Roebling Museum will open for the season on April 3. Registration is not required. The museum is located in Florence Township.There will also be a spring fundraiser held April 13.On May 4, join local historians for trolley rides through the historic village of Roebling in Florence.In June, the museum is also hosting an exhibit opening of Steadfast Under Fire: Washington A. Roebling, Civil War Engineer. The opening is set for 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 22 and June 23.The event will feature a living history encampment of Civil War re-enactors on the museum’s lawn. Registration is not required.This exhibit explores the role of Washington A. Roebling and other engineers during the Civil War and Gettysburg, according to the organization.For more information, visit www.roeblingmuseum.org.
The Food Pantry at Florence United Methodist Church at Second and Broad streets in Florence is open Fridays from 11 a.m.The pantry is always looking for food donations. Call 609-499-3807 to learn more.There also is a food pantry at Holy Assumption Church in Roebling across from the Roebling Town Market.
   There will be an Easter Flower Sale on March 28, March 29 and March 30.
   Bus trip to Lancaster Sight & Sound Theatre to see “Noah” sponsored by Sts. Francis & Clare Altar & Rosary Society, April 9 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tickets cost $100 per person which includes show admittance, bus, Kitchen Kettle, village shopping and dinner at Shady Maple in the heart of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Money for the trip is due by March 3; no deposits will be taken.
