POLICE BLOTTER: Week of March 8

East Windsor
   Police said on March 3 a pregnant woman reported that her ex-boyfriend had threatened to shoot her and her unborn child during a telephone call which resulted in a dispute at Princeton Arms. Armando Conceicao, 47, was charged with terroristic threats and bail was set at $10,000. He later responded to headquarters to turn himself in and post bail. Mr. Conceicao was released pending court action.
   Police said between noon Feb. 22 and 1 p.m. Feb. 27 a complainant reported that two pallets of PVC roofing material were stolen from the parking lot of Meadow Lakes. The total value of the stolen building material was $15,000 and the incident is under investigation.
   Miguel Castro Ajanel, 21, was charged with aggravated assault 11:09 p.m. Feb. 28. Officers responded to a Hooverton Place address for a report of an individual cut and bleeding, police said. Upon their arrival, officers found the victim bleeding from a head wound and highly intoxicated. Investigation revealed that the victim and several other males became involved in an altercation during which the victim was struck in the head with a lamp. The victim was transported for treatment to the Princeton Medical Center. Police said Mr. Ajanel assaulted the victim and his bail was set at $25,000. He was later released pending court action after posting bail.
   Carlo Vitale, 33, of Hamilton, was observed by police driving a 2012 Hyundai on Route 130 at a rate of speed higher than the posted 45 mph. The vehicle’s speed was clocked at 63 mph and the vehicle was stopped. Police said he had an odor of an alcoholic beverage and bloodshot, watery eyes. He was given field sobriety tests and arrested for DWI. Mr. Vitale was later released pending court action after being charged with driving while intoxicated,
   He was also charged with reckless driving, careless driving speeding, driving while suspended and unlicensed driver.
   An officer observed a 2001 Ford in the parking lot of a closed auto body business on Route 130, running with its lights on 2:43 a.m. March 3, police said. Upon checked on the vehicle, the officer detected an odor of an alcoholic beverage on the driver and noticed that his eyes were bloodshot and watery. The driver, Luis Morocho, 30, of Orange, was given field sobriety tests and charged with driving while intoxicated. A child, 3, was in the vehicle and was left in the custody of other occupants. The driver was later released pending court action. In addition to DWI, Mr. Morocho was charged with reckless driving , careless driving , open container of alcohol in motor vehicle , unlicensed driving , child neglect , child not properly secured and DWI with juvenile passenger.

The officer was patrolling on Etra Road when he heard the sound of a motor vehicle accident. The vehicle, a 2012 Mazda was found in the roadway with heavy front end damage from striking a guardrail. The driver was swaying and had bloodshot, watery eyes. An empty bottle of liquor was observed on the floor of the vehicle. The driver was given field sobriety tests and arrested for DWI. He later refused to submit to the breath test and was charged accordingly. He was later released pending court action.

The complainant reported that his vehicle was entered overnight by the lock being slipped. An iPod worth $100, a bag worth $20, and $9.00 in cash were stolen.
3)   Theft

Date/Time: Between 9am on 1/27/13 and 10:29am on 3/4/13
The officer responded to The Gold Exchange on Rt. 130 to meet with the complainant for a report of stolen jewelry being located there. According to the complainant, upon noticing that her jewelry, worth approximately $12,000, was missing, she began checking local jewelry establishments and found the jewelry at The Gold Exchange. The suspect was identified and arrested at a residence in Barnegat, NJ. He was later released pending court action.

   At 12:33 a.m. Feb. 28 at Plainsboro Police headquarters, officers took custody of Damira Turner, a 24, of Trenton. She was charged with contempt of court. And hand an outstanding warrant issued by Hightstown Borough Municipal Court in the amount of $219, police said. Ms. Turner was later released after posting bail.
   On 3/1/13 at 10:46 p.m. on Mercer Street, officers arrested Cleveland Johnson, a 44 y/o male of Windsor, NJ and charged him with driving while suspended, providing false information to hinder apprehension, contempt of court, and driving without headlights. Mr. Johnson was stopped for a motor vehicle infraction and during the stop provided a false name and date of birth to the officers. Mr. Johnson’s true identity was revealed and was found to be a suspended driver with warrants issued for his arrest from Plainsboro Township Municipal Court in the amount of $1000 and Bordentown Municipal Court in the amount of $750. Mr. Johnson was later released upon posting bail.
On 3/3/13 at 1:00 a.m. on Stockton Street, officers arrested Evan Pinard, a 33 y/o male of Princeton Arms, East Windsor, NJ and charged him with driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated in a school zone, reckless driving, failure to maintain lane, and speeding. Mr. Pinard was stopped for traveling 44 mph in a 25 mph speed zone and for driving in the opposing lane of travel. Upon being stopped the officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage and had the driver perform field sobriety tests, which he failed. Mr. Pinard was taken into custody and submitted breath samples that resulted in a reading of 0.12% BAC. Mr. Pinard was released to a friend with pending court action.
On 3/3/13 at 3:44 a.m. at NJ State Police Headquarters, Hamilton, officers took custody of John P. Wilson, a 40 y/o male of Trenton, NJ who was charged with contempt of court. Mr. Wilson was arrested on a warrant issued by Hightstown Borough Municipal Court in the amount of $656. Mr. Wilson was later released upon posting bail.
On 3/3/13 at 2:29 p.m. on Franklin Street, officers arrested Juan Torres, a 39 y/o male of Freehold, NJ and he was charged with contempt of court, unlicensed driving, and failure to inspect. Mr. Torres was stopped for a motor infraction and was found to be an unlicensed driver and to have an outstanding warrant for his arrest in the amount of $750 issued by Farmingdale Municipal Court. Mr. Torres was taken into custody and later released upon posting bail.
   At 12:42 a.m. March 6 on Gilman Place, officers responded to a call for an intoxicated driver. Upon arrival officers found Angel Jimenez-Feijoo, 54, of Bensalem, Pennsylvania, attempting to drive from the area while intoxicated. Mr. Jimenez-Feijoo was ultimately arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated in a school zone, and reckless driving. Mr. Jimenez-Feijoo submitted breath samples resulting in a reading of 0.19 percent BAC, police stated. He was later released to a friend with pending court action.
