The Princeton Scrabble Club will host its Annual Scrabble Classic, on March 22-24, for the eighth year at the Princeton Marriott Hotel and Conference Center at Forrestal.
This year, the entrants include a Jeopardy champion, a noted writer and journalist, students in the School Scrabble program and talented "Scrabblers" from many professions, such as medicine, law, engineering, mathematics, and education, along with retirees. They will be traveling from the District of Columbia, Florida, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. We are also anticipating some last minute players from Delaware, Illinois and Texas.
Everyone is excited about having an opportunity to make clever words in strategic spaces on the Scrabble board and increasing their rating. It is going to be an enjoyable weekend for all. Individuals that are curious about the world of competitive Scrabble may stop by to observe the games.
