POLICE BLOTTER: Week of March 15

East Windsor
   Sal Cassaro, 25, of Millstone, was charged with drunken driving at 2:45 a.m. March 2 after being stopped on Etra Road.
   Police were patrolling Etra Road when they heard a motor vehicle accident.
   The vehicle, a 2012 Mazda, was found in the road with heavy front-end damage from striking a guardrail.
   Mr. Cassaro was swaying, police said, and an empty bottle of liquor was found on the floor of the vehicle.
   He also was charged with refusal to submit to a breath test, careless driving, reckless driving and having an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle.
   He was released without bail.
   A vehicle was entered between 10 p.m. March 2 and 9:30 a.m. march 3 at the Quality Inn by the lock being slipped, police said.
   An iPod worth $100, a bag worth $20 and $9 in cash were stolen.
   Police went to The Gold Exchange on Route 130 to meet with a complainant about stolen jewelry located there.
   The woman said she noticed her jewelry, worth approximately $12,000, was missing. It has been taken sometime between 9 a.m. Jan. 27 and 10:29 p.m. march 4.
   She began checking local jewelry establishments and found the jewelry at The Gold Exchange, police said.
   Bryan Langere, 21, of Jamestown Road, was arrested at a residence in Barnegat, New Jersey, and charged with theft and receiving stolen property. He was released without bail.
   Armando Conceicao, 47, of Newark, was charged at 12:43 a.m. March 3 with making terroristic threats.
   A woman who lives in Princeton Arms North 2 reported Mr. Conceicao, her ex-boyfriend, had called and threatened to shoot her and her unborn child.
   Mr. Conceicao turned himself in and was released after posting $10,000 bail.
   Luis Morocho, 30, of Orange, New Jersey, was charged with drunken driving after police saw his car running in the parking lot of a closed auto body business on Route 130 South with its lights on at 2:43 a.m. March 3.
   A 3-year-old was in the vehicle and left in the custody of other occupants, police said.
   Mr. Morocho also was charged with reckless driving, careless driving, having an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, unlicensed driving, having a child not properly secured, child neglect and drunken driving with a juvenile passenger.
   He was and released without bail.
   A Teal Court resident reported at 5:01 p.m. Sunday that, while inside his residence, he heard a loud noise from downstairs and investigated to find his front door had been broken open, causing damage to the lock as well as the door frame.
   The damage is estimated at $500.
   Robert Connaghan, 56, of Marlboro, New Jersey, was charged with drunken driving at 2:43 p.m. March 5.
   Police went to McDonald’s restaurant for a report of a minor motor vehicle collision in which a vehicle had struck a protective barrier in the drive-through.
   Mr. Connaghan also was charged with careless driving and reckless driving.
   A Princeton Arms North 1 resident reported at 1:08 a.m. Friday that she was sleeping in the living room of her apartment when she was awakened by a woman opening the door to the apartment and entering.
   When she saw the resident, the woman apologized and left. She was described as a black female wearing a black-and-white skirt and black jacket, approximately 5-foot, 5-inches tall and 175 pounds with a dark complexion and Caribbean accent.
   Seena Alipour, 24, of Princeton Junction, was charged with possession of narcotics, and Robert Mastellone, 20, of Bristol Way, was charged with distribution of narcotics at 2:11 p.m. Tuesday at the Wawa parking lot.
   Police were at the Wawa when they saw a hand-to-hand drug transaction between the two, police said.
   Police recovered three Oxycodone pills from Ms. Alipour and cash from Mr. Mastellone, police said.
   Ms. Alipour was released without bail. Mr. Mastellone was taken to the Mercer County Corrections Center in lieu of $35,000 bail.
Hightstown
   March 1 at 10:46 p.m. on Mercer Street, police charged Cleveland Johnson, 44, Windsor, New Jersey, with driving while suspended, providing false information to hinder apprehension, contempt of court and driving without headlights.
   Mr. Johnson was stopped for a motor vehicle infraction and provided a false name and date of birth to police, they said.
   Mr. Johnson was found to be a suspended driver with warrants for his arrest from Plainsboro Township Municipal Court for $1,000 and Bordentown Municipal Court for $750.
   He was released after posting bail.
   March 3 at 1 a.m. on Stockton Street, police charged Evan Pinard, 33, of Princeton Arms, East Windsor, with drunken driving, drunken driving in a school zone, reckless driving, failure to maintain lane and speeding.
   Mr. Pinard was stopped for traveling 44 mph in a 25-mph zone and driving in the opposing lane of travel.
   Mr. Pinard submitted breath samples that resulted in a reading of 0.12, police said.
   He was released to a friend.
   March 3 at 3:44 a.m. at New Jersey State Police headquarters in Hamilton, police arrested John P. Wilson, 40, of Trenton, who had been charged with contempt of court.
   Mr. Wilson was arrested on a warrant issued by Hightstown Borough Municipal Court for $656. He was released after posting bail.
   March 3 at 2:29 p.m. on Franklin Street, police arrested Juan Torres, 39, of Freehold, who had been charged with contempt of court, unlicensed driving and failure to inspect.
   Mr. Torres was stopped for a motor vehicle infraction and was found to be an unlicensed driver and had a warrant for his arrest for $750 from Farmingdale Municipal Court.
   Mr. Torres was released after posting bail.
   March 7 at 3:27 a.m. on Mercer Street, police charged Ashley N. Anderson, 22, of Trenton, with possession of marijuana under 50 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle, failure to maintain lane, speeding and careless driving.
   Ms. Anderson was stopped for going 55 mph in a 25-mph speed zone and for crossing the double yellow center line on multiple occasions, police said.
   Police smelled burnt marijuana and saw small pieces of suspected marijuana throughout the vehicle, police said. Ms. Anderson also turned over a small plastic baggie containing suspected marijuana, police said.
   Ms. Anderson was released without bail.
   Wednesday at 9:46 a.m., Ronald Perry, 55, of Manlove Avenue, Hightstown, turned himself in on a warrant from Hightstown Borough Municipal Court for $203.
   Mr. Perry was charged with contempt of court and released after posting bail.
