Sat., March 23
   Easter breakfast and egg hunt: Manville-Hillsborough Elks Lodge, 9 a.m. to noon. Eggs, pancakes, bacon, sausage, breakfast potatoes, juice. Adults $5, children $3. Bring a camera to take pictures with the Easter Bunny.
   At 12:30 p.m., hop down to Lost Valley Park for an Easter egg hunt. (Rain date is March 24.) Ten special prizes per each grade category. Sponsored by Manville Recreation Department.
   March 28-30
   Easter flower sale: The Manville North End Volunteer Fire Company No. 3 and Ladies Auxiliary will hold their annual Easter sale of flowers and plants for gift giving. A sale will be held Thursday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the firehouse at the corner of North 8th Avenue and Louis Street. The sale moves outside to the parking lot of Rhythm’s (South Main & Wilhousky streets) on Friday (opening at noon) and Saturday, starting at 9 a.m. Children attending with a parent can enter a free drawing for an Easter basket.
Sat., April 6
   Rabies clinic: The Board of Health will hold a rabies clinic for pets from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Firehouse No. 3 on North 8th Avenue.
   Sun., April 7
   Breakfast buffet: First Sunday of the month event sponsored by the Sacred Heart Altar Rosary Society in Sacred Heart Church auditorium, South Main/Filak streets. 8–11:30 a.m. Tickets sold at door are $7 for adults. Children 8 and younger free with paying adult. For information, call 908-725-0072.
   Sun., April 21
   Hungarian dinner: Manville Reformed Church Ladies Aid will host at noon at the church, 238 South 5th Ave. Dinner of chicken soup, chicken paprika, stuffed cabbage, cucumber salad, rye bread, dessert costs $13 for adults, $6 for children 6-10 and free for children 5 and younger. Reservations required by April 14 for eat-in or take-out. For tickets, call 908-575-0173.

   Lenten soup sale: On Fridays until March 29, Holy Ghost Church at Roosevelt and 6th Avenue will sell soups, pirohi, halushki, potato pancakes and rice pudding from 1-6 p.m. Food will be available either to eat in and take out. Email orders to [email protected] or call church at 908-722-1561.
   Blood pressure checks: Second Thursday of the month, 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., VFW.

   Longer hours at Borough Hall: Offices will be open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on the second and fourth Mondays of each month. On the Fridays following these Mondays, Borough Hall will close at 2 p.m.
