Robbinsville
Police arrested Desire Rupprecht-Lyons, 42 of Princeton Junction for DWI and obstructing traffic after officers responded to a report of a driver slumped over the steering wheel of a vehicle in the area of Route 526 and Union Street on the evening of March 15.
Upon observing Rupprecht-Lyons sleeping in the vehicle, an officer detected evidence she may have been intoxicated. She subsequently failed several field sobriety tests after which she was arrested, charged, processed and released pending a court date.
She is also charged with reckless driving, careless driving, operating an unregistered vehicle and improper parking.
Police arrested Glen Swartz, 51, a township resident for DWI March 13 after he was observed speeding on Voelbel Road, initiating a traffic stop.
The officer detected evidence the driver may have been intoxicated and requested Swartz perform field sobriety tests, which he failed.
Swartz was arrested, processed, charged and released pending a court date.
He was also charged with reckless driving, careless driving, speeding and operating an unregistered vehicle.
Authorities are investigating a theft at the Work Out World gym on Route 130 the afternoon of March 11 after a patron reported unknown persons(s) had entered his locker and removed his wallet.
The wallet and its contents were valued at approximately $130.
There are no suspects at this time.
Authorities are investigating a burglary at the 200 block of Maple Street. Officers responding spoke with the victim, who reported that between March 1 and March 15 unknown person(s) entered his residence and removed approximately $12,000 in cash from a safe.
Police reported there were no signs of forced entry.
The Robbinsville Criminal Investigation Unit responded to process the scene.
Allentown
Police arrested Joseph Max, 43 of Hamilton the evening of March 4 for driving while suspended. Max was processed and released with a pending court date following a motor vehicle stop on North Main Street.
William O’Connor, 22 of Robbinsville was arrested for driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on Pearl Street the evening of March 6. O’Connor was also driving while suspended.
O’Connor failed several field sobriety tests, was arrested and transported to police headquarters where he was processed and issued summonses. Once processed, O’Connor was turned over to Hamilton Township Police for two outstanding warrants totaling $750.
Police arrested Todd Johnson, 29 of Hamilton for possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana. The arrest was made after a motor vehicle stop due to an unregistered vehicle on Yardville Allentown Road in the early morning hours of March 9.
During the stop the marijuana was discovered and Johnson was arrested and transported to headquarters where he was processed and released with a pending court date.
Police arrested Samuel Tucux, 31 of Trenton for driving while suspended during a motor vehicle stop on South Main Street the evening of March 16.
Tucux was also found to have a warrant out of Trenton for failure to appear in the amount of $81. Tucux was processed, posted full bail and was released pending a court date.
Deborah Franco, 30 of Englishtown was arrested for driving while suspended after a motor vehicle stop for use of a cell phone on Hamilton Street during the early morning hours of March 18.
Franco was arrested and transported to headquarters where she was processed and released pending a court date.
