PRINCETON: Officials, governor disagree on numbers

Gov. Chris Christie talks to passersby outside the Princeton Soup & Sandwich Co. in Palmer Square during a stop in town on Friday, March 22. Shop owner Lisa Ruddy said the visit was a complete surprise. “There was a line out the door and we looked up and said, “Is that him?” She did not know why he was in Princeton but said the governor said he had been wanting to try their place. She said he ordered a lobster bisque and wild mushroom barley soups. “It was really exciting,” she said.
