SEMINAR ON INTELLIGENCE TRAINING SCHEDULED FOR LAW
ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS
A one-day course on Internet Intelligence Training for law enforcement officers will be held on April 16 at the John H. Stamler Police Academy in Scotch Plains, N.J., that will provide instruction on how to uncover valuable information from public and private databases, social networks and web 2.0 applications as part of the investigation process.
The course will be presented by Cynthia Hetherington, MLS, MSM, CFE, President of the Hetherington Group (www.hetheringtongroup.com), a consulting, publishing, and training firm focused on intelligence, security, and investigations, and will provide officers with a better understanding of the full range of online investigative tools and techniques available when conducting thorough, fully-rounded investigations such as drug trafficking, asset forfeiture, organized crime and international and domestic terrorism.
