The Ocean Township Special Education PTA (SEPTA) will present, “A Discussion of Childhood Anxiety — Why It Occurs and What We Can Do,” at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 9, at the Township of Ocean Intermediate School, 1200 W. Park Ave., Ocean. Brett Holeman, Psy.D., will be the speaker.
Dr. Holeman is a clinician in child and adolescent emotional wellness who has a private practice in Neptune. He is also the school psychologist in the Freehold Regional
School District and the Director of Clinical Services for Camp Excel. He will explore the rise of childhood anxiety diagnoses, who it affects and what parents and teachers can do for these students.
