Gallery 135 in Red Bank is exhibiting 366 digital photographs originally posted online as a yearlong project by local artist Gerda Liebmann.
The Facebook project, entitled “Daily Cross,” presents crucifix-like images found in the natural and man-made environment by Liebmann and other collaborators around the world. The exhibit coincides with Holy Week, a Christian tradition that begins Palm Sunday and ends on Easter. All are welcome.
The gallery, which occupies the same space as Red Bank Community Church, will be open to the public on Good Friday, March 29, from 7-8 p.m.; for a special time of prayer and contemplation. Liebmann is known for her spiritually themed work, which includes painting, photography and installations.
