Mr. Baist, 54, of the Parlin section of Sayreville, died March 18, 2013, in Saint Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick. He was employed as a custodian by the North Brunswick Board of Education for 23 years. He was predeceased by a son, John, and by his parents, John and Florence. Surviving are his wife, Patricia; and a daughter, Jenna of Parlin. Cremation was private. Arrangements were under the direction of Carmen F. Spezzi, Funeral Home, Parlin.
