Hi-Lo Spring Fling Fundraiser benefits Lincroft fire company

MIDDLETOWN — The Ladies Auxiliary of the Lincroft Volunteer Fire Company will host a Hi-Lo Spring Fling Fundraiser at 7 p.m. on April 12 at the firehouse, located at 601 Newman Springs Road.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

Over the past two years, the Ladies Auxiliary has sponsored the event, with proceeds funding new equipment for the Lincroft fire company. To make room for the popular event, fire trucks will be moved to allow use of the space as a game room.

Admission is $10 per person, and tickets are being sold in advance as well as at the door. Tickets at the door will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis.

There will be playing cards dealt out at each game table. As the caller calls off cards from a separate deck, players remove the called card from the cards in their hands. When a player has no cards left, the individual calls out, “Hi-Lo.” Winners select their prize from a pile of more than 100 wrapped gifts. There are multiple winners in each game.

Dessert, coffee and tea will be served. Guests can bring snacks and beverages for their individual groups.

There will also be a gift auction at the event.

The Ladies Auxiliary is currently accepting contributions for the game prizes and donations for the gift auction.

To make donations or for advance ticket purchases, contact Maria Dunn at 732-345- 9525.

The Ladies Auxiliary supports the Lincroft Fire Company, providing assistance through various functions, coordinating fundraisers, as well as supplying food and beverages to the volunteer firefighters upon return from fire calls and to those who remain on call at the firehouse when there is a state of emergency.
