HOPEWELL TOWNSHIP: Planning Board’s March 28 session canceled

Tonight, the Planning Board was to have held its regular meeting at 7 p.m.  However, that meeting has been canceled. On the agenda were two items — the memorialization of the resolution about the Marshall’s Corner/Pennytown Redevelopment Area (Recommendation from the Planning Board to the Township Committee); and, possibly, continued discussion about that area.
On March 21, when the most recent of several lengthy board meetings on Marshall’s Corner was held., the board vote  in favor of continuing to pursue the partnership with Kooltronic included five yes votes, two no votes and two abstentions.
Two board members were absent.   Voting yes were Bruce Gunther, Paul Kiss, Karen Murphy, Rex Parker and Drewe Schoenholtz. Larry Clarke and Todd Bran voted no. Vanessa Sandom, who is township mayor, and Harvey Lester abstained because they are members of the Township Committee. Russell Swanson and Tom Perrino were absent.
