HOPEWELL VALLEY: Fourth annual Trivia Night Contest is April 16

The Hopewell Valley Education Foundation and Hopewell Valley Central High School announce the fourth annual Trivia Night to be held Tuesday, April 16th, at 7:00pm in the high school cafeteria. This event brings together students, staff, and community members for a night of challenging cerebral fun, snacks, and a chance to win one of three cash prizes provided by the night’s sponsor, Hopewell Valley Community Bank.
Trivia Night teams consist of 1-3 adults, and anywhere from 5-7 high school students. Total members on a team can be up to 8, however, with one or two senior citizens, a team size can increase from eight people to 9 or 10, total. The team plays to win prize money for a school club, team, or organization. The team competes for a chance to win the cash prize that will go back into their school club account. The cash prizes, courtesy of Hopewell Valley Community Bank, will be: $300 first, $200 second, and $100 third.
The entrance fee to participate in Trivia Night is $5.00 per person, $3.00 for senior citizens, 60 and over. The questions are presented in four rounds of 12 questions each. The questions are developed by a committee that consists of ETS test developers, and will span many categories such as sports, music, pop culture, current events, geography and history. The host of the evening is CHS principal, Mike Daher.
