Kindergarten students at Saint Leo the Great School in Lincroft, dressed as centenarians, pose with Vice Principal Deirdre Senkewicz during a celebration of the 100th day of school Feb. 21. Students marked the day by bringing 100 pieces of an item of their choice for counting, stringing 100 colored ring cereals for a necklace and coloring a 100th-day crown to wear. Other activities included assembling a 100-cup structure, licking a lollipop 100 times, cutting out 100 paper ants and more. Not only was the annual celebration filled with fun events, but it also gave students a chance to show off their counting skills.
