Jaimeson Froggatt, 18, of Old Stone Mill Drive, was charged with disorderly conduct and littering 6:50 p.m. March 20 on Dutch Neck Road. The officer was flagged down by two juvenile pedestrians on Dutch Neck Road who advised that a passenger in a passing vehicle had just thrown a bottle out of the vehicle at them. They pointed out the vehicle, which was stopped by the officer. Investigation revealed that the passenger had in fact thrown a bottle out of the vehicle at the two juveniles.
Police said officers observed a 1997 Pontiac traveling at a high rate of speed on Madison Drive 8:35 p.m. March 20 at the Drew School property. The vehicle was observed continuing onto Twin Rivers Drive North and then turning into the parking lot of the Drew School. The vehicle continued behind the school and parked on a basketball court. The officers approached the vehicle and observed a bag of marijuana inside the vehicle, as well as loose marijuana on the floor. All three occupants of the vehicle were arrested. The juvenile suspect was released to family members pending court action and the two adult suspects were charged and released.
One defendant was a 17-year-old male from Hooverton Place; Jalen Heartsfield, 18, of Robertson Road; and Deonte Harper, 18, of Madison Drive
All three were charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams.
Jake Comfort, 25, of Hamilton, was charged with theft and burglary at the Target parking lot 6:30 p.m. March 21.A complainant reported that her iPod was left in her unsecured vehicle which was parked in the Target parking lot. As she exited the store, a witness advised her that she had seen Mr. Comfort enter the vehicle and remove the iPod. A description was provided and investigation by detectives identified Mr. Comfort, who was later charged and released pending court action after posting bail in the amount of $1,000.
The officer observed a suspicious Nissan in the parking lot of The Orchard near midnight March 22. Upon seeing the officers, the driver quickly left the area and was stopped on Route 133, police said. Investigation revealed that the driver, David Loaiza, 25, of Nettleton Drive, of the vehicle had been attempting to deliver marijuana to an individual waiting for him in the parking lot of The Orchard. Further investigation revealed that the driver of the vehicle was in possession of a narcotic pill for which he had no prescription. Two bags of marijuana were located inside the vehicle. Bail was set at $1,000 for Mr. Loaiza, who posted bail and was later released pending court action. Charges included possession of prescription narcotic.
Steven Mihalyi, 22, of Hamilton, was charged with maintenance of lamps, careless driving, open alcohol container in motor vehicle, possession of marijuana under 50 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia and drugs in a motor vehicle on Route 130 at 10:59 p.m. March 20.
The officer observed a 2000 Toyota traveling northbound on Rt. 130 at a high rate of speed. As the officer followed the vehicle, he observed that the taillight was cracked and the vehicle was stopped. The officer smelled the odor of marijuana from within the vehicle and investigation revealed an open bottle of liquor as well as a bag of marijuana and a marijuana pipe. The driver was arrested and later released pending court action.
Janean Parrish, 32, of Trenton, was charged with fraudulent prescription and attempt to obtain prescription by fraud 7:09 p.m. March 22 at the Rite Aid Pharmacy, police said.
Officers responded to the Rite Aid Pharmacy for a report of an individual attempting to pass a fraudulent prescription for narcotics. Police said Mr. Parrish was located and the prescription was confirmed to be from a prescription pad which had been reported stolen from a physician in another jurisdiction. He was later released after posting bail on unrelated outstanding warrants.
A complainant reported that his vehicle was entered overnight at the Quality Inn by the lock being slipped between 10 p.m. March 2 and 9:30 a.m. March 3. An iPod worth $100, a bag worth $20, and $9.00 in cash were stolen, police said.
3)TheftLocation: Jamestown Road Date/Time: Between 9am on 1/27/13 and 10:29am on 3/4/13Police said a theft occurred on Jamestown Road between 9 a.m. Jan. 27 and 10:29 March 4. An East Windsor officer then responded to The Gold Exchange on Route 130 to meet with the complainant, who upon noticing that her jewelry — worth approximately $12,000 — was missing, she began checking local jewelry establishments. Police said the woman found her jewelry at The Gold Exchange.
Bryan Langere, 21, of Jamestown Road, was charged with theft and receiving stolen property.
Police said he was found at a residence in Barnegat and was later released pending court action.
Hightstown
At 10:26 p.m. March 19 on the 200 block of Franklin Street, officers charged Daniel Moran, 20, of Grant Avenue, with unlicensed entry of a residence. Mr. Moran was found sleeping in a rear room of the residence, by the homeowner, in an intoxicated state, police stated. Mr. Moran was not authorized to be in the residence and was arrested for such. Mr. Moran was processed and later released on a summons complaint with pending court action.
According to police, at 5 p.m. March 20 at the Hightstown Borough Police Department, a subject came to headquarters and reported a theft of his license plates. The subject reported that between March 12 to March 19 their vehicle was parked in the driveway of a residence in the 200 block of Stockton Street. Upon returning on March 19th the subject observed the license plates missing. At 6:05 p.m. March 21 on the 100 block of Clinton Street, officers responded to a report of a party being at a residence with active warrants out of Hightstown Borough Municipal Court, police said. Upon their arrival, officers met with the suspect, Ms. Deanna Robinson, 64, of Lakewood, who was found to have four active warrants issued by Hightstown Borough Municipal Court totaling $2,000. Ms. Robinson was taken into custody and later released on bail with pending court action.
Police said at 1:41 a.m. March 23 officers took a theft report from a patron of Tavern on the Lake, 101 Main Street. The subject reported that a gold necklace, valued at $2,000, was stolen by an unknown female, described as being Caucasian and wearing white pants. The subject stated that he was showing the female and another party the necklace, which was removed by the subject to display such, and while the necklace was on the table the unknown female took the necklace and left the establishment. At 1:19 a.m. March 27 officers charged Moses Johnson, 40, of Trenton, with contempt of court. Mr. Johnson was arrested on warrants issued by Hightstown Borough Municipal Court in the amount of $378. Mr. Johnson was later released upon posting bail with pending court action.
