“Child Sexual Abuse — Breaking Silence” will be held 6-8 p.m. April 17 at Monmouth County Library Headquarters, 125 Symmes Drive, Manalapan. The free educational forum will impart information on how to identify behaviors typical of a victim, how to get help, and the impact and repercussions when this crime is committed. The Columbian Club of Freehold (Knights of Columbus) will host a German dinner at 70 E. Main St., Freehold, 6:30-9 p.m. April 6. Dinner will feature pickled beet salad, sauerbraten, knockwurst, bratwurst, red cabbage, sauerkraut, German potato salad, rye bread, pumpernickel bread, Black Forest cake, apple strudel, coffee and tea. The Manalapan High School Booster Club has a scholarship program for graduating seniors who plan to continue their education. Two scholarships are being offered in the amount of $1,000 each for students who will be attending a four-year college. In addition, two scholarships in the amount of $500 each are available for students planning to attend a two-year program, including a certificate program or vocational training.
