Heller Industrial Parks, one of the nation’s largest privately held owners and developers of industrial real estate, recently hosted its annual broker recognition dinner to honor those who worked with the company to complete 28 deals totaling 3,039,432 square feet in 2012. These transactions generated more than $1.5 million in broker commissions, according to the press release.
Brokers honored by Heller for their 2012 accomplishments were David Thomas, of Blau Berg; Chuck Fern, of Cassidy Turley; Ben Shapiro, Paul Cohen and Steven Beyda, all of CBRE; Stacey Weinberg, formerly CBRE; John Kainer and Rich Goredesky, both of Colliers International; John Cascio, Jordan Metz, Manny Judah, Steve Bussel, Steve Nozza and Tony Merlowitz, all of Bussel Realty; Joel Lubin, of John Lang LaSalle; Lonnie Pannucci, of Logistical Properties; Dave Saltzman, of Newmark; Tom Nuara, of Resource Realty; Bill Sitar Jr., of Sitar Realty; and Bernie Zimmel, of Zimmel Associates.
Allstate New Jersey Insurance Company has once again raised $50,000 through its annual “Quotes for a Cure” campaign to benefit The Cancer Institute of New Jersey (CINJ), New Brunswick.
During the month of September, the CINJ Foundation donated $10 for every automobile or life-insurance policy quote requested through Allstate’s 230 agents. The funds support research, treatment, prevention and education programs at CINJ, which is a Center of Excellence of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey – Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
This year’s effort brings the total amount raised over the past four years to $150,000.
Mid States Realty Corp. and the Renaissance at Cranbury Crossing Men’s Club raised and donated $250 each for the Monroe Special Sports program.
