In March, the Hopewell Valley Central High School’s Robotics team took first place with a robot members designed, built and operated. Team members included: (back row from left): John Delaney, CHS teacher and team mentor, and Mark Hillman, mentor; (standing from left) Navruz Baum, Stephen Nichols, Isha Pradhan, Amanda Lieu, Kerry Liu, Ben Vafis, Jake Schaeffer, Michael Slaza, Dylan McKillip, Joe Knotts (mentor), Keane Bacso, Dr. Ed Petrillo (head mentor); (kneeling) Peter Mitrano, Summer Kochersperger, Alora Hillman, Sierra Commons and Noah Hillman. The group is going to the Mid-Atlantic Regional Championship robotics competition at Lehigh University, April 12 and 13.
