ROBBINSVILLE — A New Jersey Turnpike toll collector was struck at approximately 11 a.m. this morning at the 7-A interchange toll plaza of the New Jersey Turnpike.
According to Sgt. Adam Grossman of the State Police, the worker was struck by a “heavy duty pick up truck.”
Sgt. Grossman said further that the woman was transported to the Helene Fuld Medical Center in Trenton. He said he did not have a status on the woman’s injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
”The driver is being interviewed by the state police,” he said.
Previously, an alert from the township Office of Emergency Management, stated a pedestrian had been struck, via reports on Twitter.
