Online registration has begun for the South Brunswick Department of Parks and Recreation Summer Parks and Kinder Parks programs, open to residents who will enter kindergarten-grade six in September.
Residents may register for two, four or six weeks of camp. If an individual does not have a home computer, computers are available at the South Brunswick Public Library, 110 Kingston Lane, Monmouth Junction section of the township, and there is a registration kiosk in the recreation office, South Brunswick Community Center, Woodlot Park, 124 New Road, Monmouth Junction. Some credit cards will be accepted for online payment. Nonresidents may register, space permitting, on the dates noted in the recreation-program flier.
The summer programs will feature a variety of games, sports and physical activities, active and quiet games, arts and crafts and a theme for each day, with indoor and outdoor activities at Woodlot Park and the South Brunswick Community Center. Three sessions, July 1-12, July 15-26 and July 29- Aug. 9, are available. There will be no camp July 4. The Summer Parks program runs 9 a.m.-3 p.m.; Kinder Parks, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Before-camp care is available 7:30-9 a.m. for $45 per two-week session per child for both programs. Summer Parks after-camp care is available 3-5:30 p.m. for $75 per two-week session per child. Camp fee for Kinder Parks is $120 for session 1, $130 for session 2 or 3. Fee for Summer Parks is $170 for session 1, $185 for session 2 or 3.
For check or cash payment, fees are due within five business days of online registration or participants will lose their camp space. Checks should be made payable to South Brunswick Township.
