Many thanks to all of the people who helped make the “Gus” bench a reality.
He truly was a loving man, and it turns out, he was loved by all who knew him. Many people took the time to share a fond memory, or favorite story. It has been very touching.
The dedication of the bench will be on Sunday morning (April 14) at 11 a.m. at Bridge and South Union streets. Look for the balloons.
In addition, we have purchased a brick in New Hope, to be installed in warmer weather, in Ferry Landing Park.
The remaining money will be donated to the Jason Fuhr Charity golf tournament. Proceeds help local charities, including New Hope-Lambertville Rescue Squad, and others.
All are invited. Please come. Gus would be pleased.
