MANVILLE: Donate to food bank, get chiropractic services

   Chiropractic services will be given in exchange for food donations for the Somerset County Food Bank on Saturday, April 27, at the Manville Chiropractic Center at 313 South Main St.
   Donors can get spinal exams for new patients, scoliosis exams for students, gift certificates for chiropractic adjustment for current or returning patients and 10-minute chair massages. There will be a free raffle for door prizes. Refreshments will be served.
   The open house comes on the center’s 25th anniversary in Manville.
   ”It is our way of giving back to the community,” said Dr. Bill Schroeder.
   Items that are much needed for the food bank include canned meats, canned fruits, spaghetti sauce, canned vegetables, Ravioli, Spaghettios, tuna, canned beans, cookies and crackers, juice (box, bottles, canned, cases, powdered) and pasta. Also needed is peanut butter, jelly, pork &beans, rice, snacks (bars, pudding jello) soups (canned and dried), canned tomatoes, canned gravy and hot and cold cereals.
   Many non food items are also needed such as baby formula, baby wipes, diapers, deodorant, detergent (dish, laundry), hand sanitizer wipes, hand soap, paper towels, shampoo and conditions, tooth brushes and toothpaste.
