The Township of Mansfield is seeking a request for qualified proposals for a sewer service area licensed operator for calendar years 2013 and 2014, according to the municipality’s website.
Detailed requirements may be obtained by calling Linda Semus, township clerk, at 609-298-0542, ext. 12, or by visiting the Mansfield Township Municipal Building, 24548 E. Main Street.
Proposals must be received at the Mansfield municipal building no later than 10 a.m. April 23. Contact the clerk for submission requirement details.
The successful company by the Township Committee will notify the winning company.
The next Mansfield Township Committee meeting will be held May 22 at its new facility — 3135 Route 206 South.
A home-cooked ham dinner will be held at the Columbus Grange on Saturday, May 4.

The cost is $15 for adults and $6 for children 6 to 10.
The New Jersey Renaissance Faire will take place from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. over the weekends of June 1 and June 2; and June 8 and June 9.
The bounty this year includes a visit by William Wallace to the Shire of Crossford. This shire is home to The New Jersey Renaissance Faire, held at Liberty Lake, 1195 Florence-Columbus Road, in Mansfield Township.

The community has been invited to celebrate the 75th consecutive Field Day in Mansfield Township on Saturday, June 8.
The parade will step off at 11 a.m. this year, so please note the time change. It will be a much longer parade as some energetic people have been lining up more floats plus other attractions.
After the parade, the park will be busy will many events. For the first time, there will be a rock climbing wall as well as a mechanical bull, in addition to more entertainment.
The rain date is June 9.
The Mansfield Township Special Events Committee is seeking volunteers to help on the day of the event. Students needing community service hours are also welcome.
