   Loud and Rowdy Folk Tales, will be performed by international storyteller Julie Pasqual at the Plumsted Branch of the Ocean County Library at 10:30 a.m. Ms. Pasqual will share her love of world language and cultures through her interactive stories. The library is located at 119 Evergreen Road, New Egypt. The performance is part of the county library system’s “Dia!” programming. The event is free and open to the public.    Planting by the Stars, a program regarding bio-dynamic gardening will be presented by food historian Judith Krall-Russo at a meeting of the Allentown Garden Club at 7 p.m. Ms. Krall-Russo will tell participants how to work in cooperation with the influences of the cosmos on soil and plant health.    Balance in the Equine, a presentation by Farrier David Witkins will be offered at the Pleasure Horse Club of Central Jersey meeting. All horse owners and enthusiasts are welcome to attend.    Vendor Show, presented by the Hope Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, will take place from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., and include a night of shopping featuring multiple vendors. Vendors include Scentsy Lia Sofia Jewelry, Tastefully Simple, Pampered Chef and more. Doors open at 6 p.m. Admission is free and dessert will be served.    Irving Fryar Celebrity Invitational Golf Tournament, co-sponsored by the Robbinsville-Hamilton Sunrise Rotary Foundation and Old York Country Club will take place at the Gary Player Signature Golf Course located at 228 Old York Rd., Chesterfield. The event will benefit Justice for All People, a charity founded to establish and encourage meaningful activities for our youth through exposure to positive mentors and role models, and the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen (TASK).

   Open House, will be held by the MOMS Club of Robbinsville at 10:30 a.m. at Tantum Park on Meadowbrook Road. The Club is a support group for at-home mothers living in Robbinsville, New Jersey. Our members are stay-at-home mothers or moms who work part-time and are looking for opportunities to make friends, share experiences in raising our children, give a little back to the community, and have fun!    Memorial Day Parade, hosted by the Allentown Lions Club will be held rain or shine, starting at 10 a.m. Attendees are asked to arrive by 9:30 a.m. due to Main Street and High Street Road closures. A memorial service will be held following the parade on the Allentown Grammar School grounds. Antique cars are welcome to participate in the parade.    Winter Storytime Sessions at the Allentown Library. Stories, songs and fun activities every Thursday at the library located at 16 S. Main St., Allentown. No pre-registration required! Schedule includes: “Good Morning Storytime” from 10:30 a.m. to 10:50 a.m. for ages 3 and under with a parent or caregiver (siblings welcome); “Preschool Storytime” from 11:15 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. for ages 3 to 5; and “Family Storytime” from 2:15 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. for all ages. Video Tapes, Readers Digest Condensed books, Magazines, or Encyclopedias are not accepted.
