The Springfield Township Council meeting is set for 7:30 p.m. tonight Thursday, May 2, in the municipal building.
Adult pickup basketball of the Springfield Recreation will be held Friday evenings from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Springfield Elementary School.
Enjoy a great morning of community fun in a casual setting and meet your neighbors at the Jacksonville Community Center breakfast.
The all-you-can-eat breakfast consists of bacon, sausage, pork roll, eggs, pancakes, fried potatoes, juice, coffee and tea.
The breakfast is Sunday, May 5, from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Jacksonville Community Center on Jacksonville Road.

Stream Survey, The Creatures of Birch Creek, Sunday, May 5, 1:30 p.m. The group will meet at the Jacksonville Presbyterian Church, on Jacksonville Mount Holly Road.
During the day adults and children will use dip nets to capture and identify the aquatic creatures of Birch Creek.
Check bird houses for eggs or young and walk inside of one of the largest sycamore trees in New Jersey. All attending should dress and be prepared for the great outdoors — sun, bugs, ticks and dirt.
A hard rain cancels the outing.

The Parent Teacher Student Connection (PTSC) of Northern Burlington County Regional School District invites the community’s senior citizens to attend the ninth annual Seniors Citizens Prom May 4. The Saturday dinner dance will take place from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the auditorium of NBC high school, 160 Mansfield Road East, Mansfield.
While there is no charge for the event, tickets must be obtained in advance.
Space is limited so early sign-up is encouraged.
