Raritan Bay Medical Center has partnered with TeamHealth, one of the nation’s leading providers of emergency department staffing and management services. Under this arrangement, TeamHealth will manage a core group of community-based emergency physicians who will be dedicated to enhancing the level of emergency care at the medical center’s Old Bridge and Perth Amboy locations. TeamHealth is the first national multi-specialty group to receive recognition from the U.S. Department of Health & Senior Services as a certified Patient Safety Organization, and many of the departments the organization helps manage have earned national distinctions from leading patient experience and customer service organizations, including the Studer Group, Press Ganey and Malcolm Baldrige.
