Under the direction of Spotswood High School Band Director Sarah M. Carino, the Spotswood High School Concert Band, Honors Wind Ensemble and Jazz Band traveled to Cincinnati, Ohio to participate in the Music in the Parks performance festival, held April 27-28.
The jazz band was rated “excellent” and placed first in Jazz Ensemble Class A. Senior
Andrew Pelham received a medal for “Outstanding Jazz Soloist.”
The concert band was rated “excellent” and placed first in Concert Band Class IA.
The honors wind ensemble was rated “excellent” and placed first in Concert Band Class IIA, receiving the trophy for “Best Overall High School Band.”
