Superintendent exhibited childish behavior

A t a recent public meeting of the Monroe Township Board of Education, Superintendent of Schools Kenneth Hamilton was questioned by a resident as to why the board wasn’t working to get the state to increase aid to the school system. Evidently, Hamilton is not used to being questioned about his authority, and he became combative, saying to the resident, “Bring it on.”

Sounds like Hamilton needs a time-out. Talk about childish behavior. If one of the youngsters under his control as superintendent took that attitude, there would be counseling ordered, and the anti-bullying SWAT squad would be dispatched posthaste.

Perhaps Hamilton needs anger-management counseling, or to quote a phrase, “If you can’t stand the heat, get out of the kitchen.” Don’t forget that Hamilton’s position is to work for the good of all the taxpayers, and nobody anointed him king. Even more to the point, perhaps Hamilton “can’t handle the truth” (with apologies to the movie “A Few Good Men”).
