Tax Rate 2011-12:
Our 2011 Final Tax Rate is $1.925 per $100 of assessed value, an overall decrease of 1% from our 2010 rate of $1.939 per $100. On a property assessed at the average assessed value of $339,100, the total decrease in taxes from 2010 to 2011 is $47.47.
Government: Mansfield, is governed by a respective five-member Township Committee, who serve three-year terms and choose the mayor from amongst themselves at their annual reorganizational meetings in January.

The high school district is Northern Burlington County Regional School District.
 Mansfield’s pre-kindergarten through sixth grade district consists of two schools the kindergarten through second grade John Hydock Elementary School on Locust Avenue and Mansfield Township Elementary School on Mansfield Road East, which serves students in pre-kindergarten and grades three through six.  Mansfield Community Park is a 40-acre facility off East Main Street in the Columbus section of the town. Half of it has been developed into fields and courts for baseball, softball, soccer, tennis, basketball, and even a shuffleboard court and a horseshoe pit.
