Edison COC names new officers, directors

The Edison Chamber of Commerce (COC) recently announced its new team of officers and directors, which will be inducted at the annual general membership meeting on June 4 by Edison Mayor Antonia Ricigliano.

The new officers will be Chairman Robert Weeks, hospitality consultant; First Vice Chair Joe Cascio, N.J. Convention and Expo Center; Second Vice Chair Joe Coyle, Raritan Bakery; Treasurer Brian Legg, Creative Design Plus; Treasurer Craig Melton, CPA; and Immediate Past Chair Janet Baio, Pines Manor.

The new directors will be Nick Alpa, Hellmann Worldwide Logistics; Scott Feinman, Ideal Media; Amit Gaglani, Accelerated Physical Therapy; Angela Holdren, Little Genius Academy; Jean McDonnell, Peapack Gladstone Bank; Allan Ramsay, Heller Industrial Parks; Kenny Yeglinksi, Rebounderz; Wayne Chandler, Automatic Rolls of N.J.; Scott Shay, ADT; and Herlinda Velez, Sam’s Club. Jibu Kuruvilla, Edison Job Corps Academy, and Lisa Sanguiliano, Edison Metuchen YMCA, are ex officio board members. This year’s business award nominees are Affiliated Foot and Ankle, Amogh Associates, Comprehensive Medical Care, Complex Technologies, Hess Station, JFK Health System, Kaizen Technologies, Middlesex County College, Raritan Valley Baptist Church, Rebounderz-Edison, Sims Recycling Solutions, Vision Construction, and Vito Mazza Salon & Spa.

The following individuals will be honored: Luz Asmat; Pat Coyle, Firestone Tire Center; Jen D’Antuono, Hair Design 27; Gloria Feng; Dr. Varun Gujral, Affiliated Foot and Ankle; Anneliese Klenetsky; Paul Lee; Bryan Scheff, Monster Mini Golf; Eugene Tawiah; and Chef Noel Wheatle, Edison Job Corps Academy.

The public is invited to attend the cocktail gala at the Pines Manor on June 4. The ticket price is $65 per person. Advance registrations are required.
