Jamesburg Borough
The Borough of Jamesburg was incorporated in 1887, and takes up an area of 0.9 square miles with a population of 6,336.
Despite its small size geographically; it is a thriving community in southern Middlesex County, with a rich cultural and historical past and is a short distance from exit 8A on the New Jersey Turnpike.
The location allows the borough to be surrounded by fortune 500 companies and suburban communities like Monroe Township.
Jamesburg is anchored by a vibrant downtown shopping district including the historic Mendoker’s Bakery, and county-owned Thompson Park and Lake Manalapan.
Children in the borough attend two modern schools through eighth grade and then attend Monroe Township High School.
