Anthony Joseph Antonucci, 14, of Hazlet, died April 23, 2013. He was born April 5, 1999, in Red Bank. He played football for both the Hazlet Hawks and the Holmdel Hornets and was also on the Hazlet Middle School basketball team. He was looking forward to playing football for Raritan High School and aspired to be a cadet at the North Centerville Fire Co. He is survived by his mother, Kasey Crahan; his father, Joseph Antonucci and his wife, Annamarie; a brother, Giovanni Antonucci; a sister, Abigail Antonucci; his grandparents, Rich and Kate Crahan and Anthony and Debbie Antonucci; two aunts, Keri Gelato and her husband, Anthony, and Jamie Gelpke and her husband, Jim; an uncle, Brian Crahan; and many other special aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Hazlet. A Mass of Christian burial was offered at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, Union Beach, followed by interment at Holmdel Cemetery, Holmdel.
