The South Amboy Police Department will sponsor a Buzz the Fuzz For Kids With Cancer event at 4-8 p.m. May 19 at The Landmark Tavern, North Broadway, South Amboy.
Each South Amboy police officer will be put up for auction. The highest bidder will be handed the clippers to shave the hair off the officer’s head — “buzz the fuzz” off the “fuzz.”
Cost is $25 per person and includes wine, beer and light hors d’oeuvres.
All proceeds will go directly to benefit those affected by childhood cancers.
