Children are invited to enjoy a variety of programming in the Avice Noblett Children’s Room of the Red Bank Public Library, 84 W. Front St., in May.
Timber, a certified therapy dog, visits the library twice a month to sit with and listen to hesitant readers and dog lovers. Children age 5 and over can register for a free 15-minute Timber Time session on the first and third Wednesday of each month, 4-5 p.m.
Artsy Smartsy will take place on May 18, 2-3 p.m.
Children age 5 and older will learn about the art of Vincent Van Gogh and create their own versions of his famous painting “Sunflowers.”
Children with a day off from school on May 24, are invited to Movie Time at 2:30 p.m.
Join the “Immortal Guardians” as they team up to protect the innocence of children all around the world.
Come to the Rockin’ Readers Tween Book Club on May 29, 5-6 p.m., for children ages 9-12.

The Children’s Room also offers free drop-in Storytimes for young children with a caregiver on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday at 10:30 a.m.
Enjoy some quick stories, musical activities and a craft.
Spanish Storytimes for young children with a caregiver are offered on the third Tuesday of the month at 11 a.m. Registration is not required.
The Young Adult Anime Club for teens and preteens in grades 6-12 meets the first Saturday of each month from 3- 4:30 p.m.
