PLUMSTED — The annual celebration of New Egypt Day will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 11.
Activities planned include pony rides, face painting, music, vendors, a tractorpulled wagon and paddleboat rides.
New Egypt Day festivities will be split between Oakford Lake Park and the Presbyterian Church grounds on Front Street. A pedestrian bridge over the lake links the two sites.
The day is sponsored by Main Street New Egypt, Plumsted Township, and the Plumsted Business and Merchants Association.
New Egypt Day is free. A $6 wristband will provide unlimited activities for children.
