Candidate kits for those interested in running in the school board elections on Nov. 5 are now available online.
To download a kit, visit njsba.org/candidacy.
The kit includes information about the nominating petition, a description of how to become a board member, frequently asked questions, important dates in the election process, what to expect if elected, school ethics information, and resources for campaign reporting.
The deadline to apply is 4 p.m. June 4 at the Middlesex County clerk’s office, 75 Bayard St., New Brunswick.
