Mr. Hosford, 57, of Jackson, died May 4, 2013, at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Prior to retiring, he was employed as a truck driver by the McLane Food Service Company, Burlington. Mr. Hosford was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and received the National Defense Service Medal, the Expert Grenade Badge and the marksman badge. Surviving are his wife, June Hosford; three daughters, Stephanie Hosford, Samantha Hosford and Donna Hosford; two brothers, Ted Hosford and Mike Hosford; his mother-in-law, Mary Lindsay; two brothers-in-law and a sister-in-law, Paul Lindsay, and John and Maureen Lindsay; and sister-in-law, Diane Huntley. A funeral liturgy was held at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, Jackson, followed by fire department honors at the Jackson Mills Fire Company, Jackson. Interment was at the Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown section of North Hanover. Arrangements were by the George S. Hassler Funeral Home, Jackson.
