Mr. Armstrong, 52, of Jackson, died April 29, 2013, at Ocean Medical Center, Brick Township. He was employed as a lineman for Verizon in Howell for the past five years. Prior to that, he was a building engineer in New York City. Surviving are his wife, Karen (Martin) Armstrong; a son, Andrew Armstrong; a daughter, Victoria Armstrong, all of Jackson; his mother, Geraldine Armstrong of Staten Island, N.Y.; two brothers, James Armstrong of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Edward Armstrong of Manhattan; two sisters, Eileen Ferrari of Florida, and MaryAnn Edkins of Staten Island, N.Y; and an aunt, Sally Curtis. A funeral service was held at the George S. Hassler Funeral Home, Jackson, followed by a private cremation.
