Training for Life LLC, 3171 Route 9 north, Suite 305, Old Bridge, has published an infographic on sudden cardiac arrest (SCA), prompt cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and the use of an automated external defibrillator (AED).
SCA strikes about 360,000 people annually but less than 10 percent of SCA victims survive. The infographic explains that an SCA victim can only survive without CPR and defibrillation for about 10 minutes.
The infographic was created by the Health & Safety Institute in celebration of National CPR and AED Awareness Week, which will be held June 1 to 7.
Training for Life also offers CPR and AED training classes. For more information, call 732-360-6020 or email [email protected].
