Top six finishers prepare for state group track and field

The Robbinsville High School girls track and field team placed fourth in the Central Jersey Group II championship with 53 points. The top six finishers in each event advance to the group state meet to be held Friday and Saturday.
The Ravens’ Noel Jancewicz won the 400 meters in 57.92 seconds, won the high jump at 5-foot-4 and was third in the 100-meter dash in 12.72 seconds. Kaitlyn Koss was third in the 400 meters in 59.93 seconds. Kelly Koss, Paris Hughes, Erin Holzbaur and Kaitlyn Koss won the 4×400 in 4:04.85. Erin Holzbaur, Julia Borowski, Caitlyn Krueger and Makenzie Bayless were fifth in the 4×800 in 10:28.69. Kristen Kowalski was fifth in the javelin with a throw of 100-feet-6. Myana Morris-Bullock, Lauren Thompson, Kellie Hodson and Kelly Koss were sixth in the 4×100 in 53.11 seconds. Andin Fosam was third in the discus at 101-9.
The Ravens boys finished 11th with 18 points. Craig Hunter won the pole vault at 14-feet-6. Zachary Michon was third in the boys 1600 meters in 4:30.50. Ryan Gross, Michael Colonna, Michon and Nicholas Brennan were fifth in the 4×800 in 8:44.55.
The Allentown High School girls placed seventh in Central Jersey Group III with 38 points. Roxanne Redwood won the high jump at 5-feet, third in the long jump at 16-feet-8¼ and fifth in the triple jump at 35-1½. Anne Lee was fifth in the long jump at 16-2½ and fourth in the triple jump at 35-9¼. Abigail Lubeski gave the Redbirds a third scorer in the long jump when she finished sixth at 16-2. Lubeski was also fifth in the high jump at 4-8. Carly DuBrosky was fourth in the 400 hurdles in 1:07.41 and sixth in the 100 hurdles in 15.64 seconds. Lee, Redwood, Lubeski and Veronica Gottilla were third in the 4×100 in 52.51 seconds.
The AHS boys were 17th with seven points. Daivone Thomas took third in the discus with a throw of 131-feet-2. Mike Fritsky was sixth in the pole vault at 11-feet-6.
