The Kick-Off Party for the Robbinsville Branch, Mercer County Library System’s popular Summer Reading Program will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The theme this year is “Dig Into Reading.” Children can register at the event, and enjoy the strolling magic of Matt Schick, crafts, and prizes. The Summer Reading Program is for children, ages 2 to 18. The program begins July 1, and will run through Aug. 9. Children must register in person to participate in the summer reading program. Car Show for Prevention, presented by the Upper Freehold/Allentown Alliance to Prevent Alcoholism and Drug Abuse, will take place from 5:30 p.m. – 9 p.m. at the Byron Johnson Recreation Area on Ellisdale Road in Allentown.
