Some of the ladies of the Willitts-Tonne-Hogan American Legion Auxiliary Unit 39 have take on a project for the veterans at Veterans Haven located on the grounds of Anchora State Hospital. They are crocheting scarves for all of the veterans.
Information received noted that there were 91 men and women veterans there. It is hoped the scarves will be ready for delivery by September. About 50 have already been completed. Even 1.2 a skein could help us complete the fringe on one of the scarves. The ladies are also making bibs for the residents of the Clare Estates Nursing Home.
