CentraState offers an express weight loss program

CentraState Medical Center is offering a fun, interactive weightloss program to help you get fit and healthy in time for the summer season.“Slimmer for Summer” is a four-session, express weightloss program. Each group session includes a one-hour discussion about nutrition with a registered dietitian and a half-hour of exercise with a certified fitness professional. It also includes discussions about portion control, dining out, emotional and mindless eating, supermarket smarts and exercise.

The “Slimmer for Summer” program is on Thursdays beginning June 6 through June 27 from 9:30- 11 a.m. and on Tuesdays beginning June 11 through July 2 from 7:30-9 p.m.

The program costs $49 per person and is at CentraState’s Star and Barry Tobias Health Awareness Center, 901 W. Main St., Freehold.
