Louis Stephen Hirochok

Mr. Hirochok, 94, formerly of South Brunswick, died May 21, 2013, at his home in Milford, Pa. Born in Nesquehoning, Pa., he lived in South Brunswick before moving to Milford in 2007. He was an engineer at Richardson Battery Company in New Brunswick for 33 years. A U.S. Army veteran, he fought in five major German battles and was awarded the Bronze Star Attachment, along with several other medals. He was a lifetime member of the American Legion. He was predeceased by his wife, Helen (Slobiski) Hirochok, in 1991. Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Rosemary J. Finham and Ray D. Finham, of East Brunswick, and Maryellen Mascolo and George D. Young, of Milford; three grandchildren; and four greatgrandchildren. Private services were under the direction of Selover Funeral Home, North Brunswick. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Deborah Hospital Foundation, P.O.
