Mrs. Christiano, 83, of South River, died May 28, 2013, in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a seamstress with South River Coat Company. After that, she worked at Causeway Ice Cream, South River. She was predeceased by her husband, Vito J. Christiano, and by four brothers and four sisters. Surviving are three children and their spouses, Peter and Ann Christiano of Old Bridge, Natalie Christiano of South River and Patricia and Thomas Mutchler of Hightstown; a sister, Theresa Trzeciak of Milltown; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Mary of Ostrabrama Church, South River. Interment was in St. Mary’s Cemetery, East Brunswick. Arrangements were under the direction of Maliszewski Funeral Home, South River.
