HILLSBOROUGH: Somerset Valley Players stage a comedy on golf course

Play runs through June 23

A crazy golf clubhouse tees up a frenetic farce in a fast-paced comedy, “The Fox on the Fairway,” being presented by the Somerset Valley Players at their theater at 689 Amwell Road (Route 514) starting tomorrow and running weekends until June 23.
Shows are Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m, with Sundays at 2 p.m. General admission is $18, and senior citizens and students at $16.
The play by Ken Ludwig, the author of “Lend Me a Tenor” and “Moon Over Buffalo,” portrays a raucous rivalry between two screwball country clubs. The competition drives the members into love on the links, sauciness in the sand traps, and frolic on the fairway while scheming to win the top prize.
